For over 18 years, HOOTS has distributed scholarships to assist in the education of employees and dependents of employees from Facilities & Capital Planning, Housing & Dining, Transportation & Parking and the Rice University Police Department. Money for these scholarships is raised through the hard work and resourcefulness of its members, along with the generous donations of its supporters, both independently and through Rice’s Annual Gifts Campaign. Applications are due on May 15 of each year and are available by emailing  hoots@rice.edu.
